‘Don Seenu’ Returns from Switzerland

The film unit of, Crazy Star Ravi Teja and the beautiful Shriya Saran starrer, ‘Don Seenu’ has returned from Swtizerland after completing its shooting formalities.

‘Don Seenu’ is presented by K. Achi Reddy and produced by RR Movie makers for producer Venkat and co-producer V. Suresh Reddy. This movie is hinted to be a crazy entertainer by director Gopichand Malineni.

Talking about the progress of the movie, producer Venkat informed that the film’s unit spent almost 45 days in Switzerland, Spain, Barcelona, Ireland and Dubai. Three songs and a few important scenes were shot in these locations. The producer went on to add that the movie’s coming out really well, thanks to director Gopichand. The producer expressed his happiness about Ravi Teja acting in their banner after the super hit ‘Kick’.

The latest update from ‘Don Seenu’ is that the film unit will go to Rajahmundry and the shooting will start from June 6th for 10 days. After completing the shooting in Rajahmundry, the remaining parts of the movie will be shot in Hyderbad.

Members of the cast include Sri Hari, Shiyaji Shinde, Nasser, Bramhaji, Delhi Rajeshwari, Sathyam Rajesh and handling the comedy will be Bramhanandam, Ali, Sunil, Raghu Babu and others.

Rajendra Prasad Rejects IIFA Invitation

Respecting the decision taken by the South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce, actor Dr.Rajendra Prasad has rejected the IIFA invitation sent to him.

He is the only Telugu actor who has been invited for the International Indian Film Awards at Colombo for 2010. Even last year Rajendra Prasad was invited as he was one of the actors nominated for ‘Best Actor’ for his performance in ‘Quickgun Murugan’.

Declining the invitation, Rajendra Prasad said that the IIFA only had awards for Hindi films and not for any other language. He was with the south Indian film industry and he respected the unanimous decision taken by the producers council of Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.

There have been so many actors who have boycotted the awards including Namitha and Genelia.

Jhummandi Nadham in Ramoji Film City

K.Raghavendra Rao’s ‘Jhummandhi Nadham’ is fast completing with only a song pending. The song is being shot in Ramoji Film City.

Talking on the occasion producer Lakshmi Manchu informed the press that with the shooting of the song in Ramoji Film City, the shooting part of the movie will be over. A special set has been erected for this song. Expectations are a plenty for this movie including the lead pair Manoj and Tapsi.

Lakshmi added saying that after the music launch of the movie, Keeravani’s music has received a lot of applause. The movie will be released in this month June, it self.

Naga Chaitanya – Sukumar movie launched

Naga Chaitanya’s new movie under the direction of talented director Sukumar, was launched in Annapoorna Studios on Monday, 7th morning.

Produced by the reputed Geetha Arts banner, Allu Arvind is presenting the movie along with Vasu. The launch saw the presence of Chaitanya’s grandfather and movie moghul D.Rama Naidu do the pooja for the movie along with dad Nagarjuna who had the clapboard. Nagababu switched on the camera, while Rajamouli directed the first scene and Akkineni Nageshwara Rao handed over the script to the director.

Speaking on the occasion, Allu Arvind was happy with the script and said that Sukumar always approached him first with any script. They decided to cast Chaitanya even before his ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’. He added that though his banner is predominantly producing with his relatives, his banner is open to other actors as well. Tamanna will be Naga Chaitanya’s heroine in the movie. She was happy that she’s doing a straight Telugu movie after a year and her role demands a lot of performance.

Director Sukumar expressed his happiness over the project. He informed the press that this movie will be a romantic entertainer with action.

Sukumar’s favourite music director Devi Sri Prasad will handle the music for this movie.

Kulasekaranum Koolippadayum

Keerthi Chawla showed sparks in her first 'Aanai’ opposite Arjun. She even tried a swim suit with ‘Swetha’ to gather some momentum. But the success she desired was not forthcoming.

Now Keerthi is expecting a lot from ‘Kulasekaranum Koolippadayum’ (KK). She says when this film is released people will look at her with respect because of her great role in the film. Keerthi plays a blind girl in ‘Kulasekaranum Koolippadayum’ (KK) with enough scope to show case her acting abilities.

She also has ‘Thirumathi Thamizh’ and ‘Ninaivil Nintraval’ two films under production. Keerthi is confident of reaching the top once these films hit the theaters. Good Luck!
