Kulasekaranum Koolippadayum

Keerthi Chawla showed sparks in her first 'Aanai’ opposite Arjun. She even tried a swim suit with ‘Swetha’ to gather some momentum. But the success she desired was not forthcoming.

Now Keerthi is expecting a lot from ‘Kulasekaranum Koolippadayum’ (KK). She says when this film is released people will look at her with respect because of her great role in the film. Keerthi plays a blind girl in ‘Kulasekaranum Koolippadayum’ (KK) with enough scope to show case her acting abilities.

She also has ‘Thirumathi Thamizh’ and ‘Ninaivil Nintraval’ two films under production. Keerthi is confident of reaching the top once these films hit the theaters. Good Luck!

Next From Gauthami Family

We all know Gauthami very well. And now, a new member from her family has entered the tinsel town. She is Keerthi, the established actress’s niece, who is the lead actress of Tollywood’s latest flick titled ‘Young India’.

Keerthi, who is keen at acting in Tamil films too, says, “I feel proud that my aunt is a popular face in south Indian cinema. She and Kamal Haasan gave me valuable tips when they were in Hyderabad a few months ago.”

Interestingly, director of ‘Young India’ D Narayana Rao didn’t know that Keerthi is a close relative of Gauthami till he finalised her for the role. “Because, I didn’t want to use Gauthami’s name to bag the offer,” she says.

Saying she had even kept her acting plans a secret from her aunt, the young actress adds: “I told her that I was there in Narayana Rao’s film only after things got finalised. She was all smiles and said that I am lucky.”

Sasi Was Invited By Sridevi

We heard last month that Sridevi's daughter Jhanvi will debut in Telugu opposite Nagarjuna's younger son Akhil. But now news says that Jhanvi’s first film will be in Tamil the mother tongue of Sivakasi born Sridevi.

The latest buzz says Sridevi recently sent a message to director-actor Sasikumar requesting him to meet her in Mumbai. A thrilled Sasikumar cancelled all his shoot schedules and immediately flew to Mumbai.

At Mumbai after enjoying the great hospitality of Sridevi family Sasikumar heard the thing. Sridevi asked Sasikumar if he could introduce her daughter Jhanvi in Tamil. Sridevi said she and her family are huge fans of his movies and it's their collective desire to launch Jhanvi in a Sasikumar film.

Sasikumar has reportedly agreed in principle and will reveal his plans soon. Sasikumar must have grown up watching Sridevi films and she must have been his dream girl in his younger days. So if she proposes how can he dispose?

Against Vijay

Vijay's recent not so impressive record at the box office has upset many and particularly the exhibitors who are last link in the chain of film making. Theatre owners in Tamil Nadu have called for an emergency meeting to discuss the status of screening Vijay films in future.

Theatre owners in Tamil Nadu charge that in the last five years Vijay has done seven films and they have suffered huge losses as they all failed to click. Out of Aadhi, Pokkiri, Azhagiya Thamizh Magan, Kuruvi, Villu, Vettaikkaran and Sura released in the last few years they say only ‘Pokkiri’ fetched them profits.

To compensate the losses they incurred by screening the above films the theatre owners are asking Vijay to do a film exclusively for the theatre owners. If not they will issue a red card to the actor and will not screen Vijay films in future.

To discuss the issue further theatre owners are holding an emergency meeting tomorrow May 22. This sudden development is closely watched by the industry.

Genelia Got Chance In Vijay Film

Genelia wasn’t lucky when she landed in Kollywood few years ago. Today she may not be counted in the ranks of Priyanka Chopra or Katrina Kaif in Bollywood but Genelia is still a charming favourite for many. Recently her success in Bollywood was repeated in Kollywood also. Her last film in Tamil 'Santosh Subramaniam' was a super hit and her jinx in Kollywood was broken for ever.

Her second round in Kollywood is gaining momentum. After the success of ‘Santosh Subramaniam’ she bagged ‘Uthamaputhiran’ opposite Dhanush and now she has got an even bigger film.

‘Jayam’ Raja who gave Genelia her first hit in Tamil has signed her for his film with Vijay. Vijay's 52nd film which is tentatively titled 'Velayudham' will be her next big thing. ‘Jayam’ Raja was particular that Genelia play the role because of her bubbly attitude which the character also wants very much. This is Genelia’s second film opposite Vijay after ‘Sachin’.

Race Winner Is Maanja Velu

Arun Vijay’s ‘Maanja Velu’ is the clear winner of the releases this weekend.

This Friday saw the releases of six movies, with ‘Maanja Velu’ having good openings and excellent feedback from the audience. Reports related to the movie convey that most of the people who have watched the movie tell that the movie is highly entertaining and has a racing screenplay.

Arun Vijay’s energetic performance along with amazing performances from Karthik and Prabhu add to the credit of ‘Maanja Velu’. Arun Vijay’s stunts without body double are also a big highlight in the movie. Director A.Venkatesh, Producers Feather Touch Entertainment and Arun Vijay’s previous movie ‘Malai Malai’ is a big hit running for more than 100 days. Their combination seems to have worked again with ‘Maanja Velu’ and Arun Vijay promises a talk on the 100th day of the movie as well.

Interestingly the combination of Director A.Venkatesh, Producers Feather Touch Entertainment and Arun Vijay is also coming up with ‘Kaaval Thurai’. Looks like a successful combination that seems to be unbeatable.

Tips For Beginners

Beginners at anything almost always have trouble when they start because they have no idea what they are doing and they are inexperienced in what is going on. The same basic concept holds true to beginners who want to start making money online. They are very susceptible to online scams and programs that will lead them nowhere in terms of making money online. In this post I will not necessarily give you names of specific programs, I will give you some valuable tips that will help you make your own decision and help you get off on the right foot so you can make money.

Start Simple And Build Up

One of the most important things you can do as a beginner is to start simple. The phrase keep it simple stupid is perfect for the making money online business because simpler means that you are less likely to get scammed. Now keeping it simple forever is not the best idea either. You should start out fairly easy and work your way up to more complicated ideas that will earn you more money. This way you can learn as you go and not have to worry as much about getting scammed.

Avoiding Nasty Scams

There are millions of online scams out on the world wide web that are waiting to take your hard earned money. A general tip for beginners is to start out with programs that are free and that you have nothing to lose with. These include paid survey sites and article writing sites. There are numerous sites out there in these categories that are free and that will provide beginners with a legit way to begin making money online. The key in the beginning is to stay away from the sites that charge you a fee in order to join in their site. While these sites are always tempting, even for me, they are almost always scams and were designed for one thing. Taking your money! Avoid these sites at all costs.

Researching Is Key

When it comes to making money online, one of the most important things you can do is research. Lets say you have come across a nice site that looks like a good opportunity for you to make money online with. The first thing you should do is google the site and see what experiences others have had with it. If a site is a scam then other people will have written about it on Google or other places. Remember to do your homework about a site.

These three tips if followed will help any beginner make money online. Remember that making money online takes time and effort and a person will not become rich. Most people are just looking for an extra income that they can use in one way or another. The most important tip to when it comes to making money online… Don’t get to greedy.

Keywords Give Money

Every moment of every day, millions of dollars are spent over the net. Type in a keyword, click, and a ‘personal shopper’ called a search engine has scanned thousands of data bases and found just what you’re looking for. And, the only ‘legs’ needed for this virtual shopping expedition are keywords. From anywhere in the world, people are searching a global mall where their choice has been narrowed down to a few top rated web sites—and all this, because someone somewhere knew how to make money online by picking keywords.

Keywords Make Money
Anyone who knows the net understands the enormous marketing and advertising impact of keywords. Every day millions of dollars are paid to the people who create, develop and disperse keywords. Whether by advertiser cost-per-click, blogs, or creating links to a well-written hub, the people who know how to make money on line by picking keywords are making lots of money. And although content is important, in some cases, it is not automatically ‘king.’ If an on-line marketing company is tasked with helping to restore an individual’s or company’s reputation, their chief concern is to implant keywords throughout the text, ‘the story is not important. What is important is that the anchor text is worked seamlessly into the narrative 3 times.’

Location, Location, Location
To find the best keywords, know exactly what the customer is looking for; what is their Unique Selling Point? What words are triggered for example, if people are looking for ‘how to make money online by picking keywords’? If an aunt or uncle were looking for information about this topic, what words would they use? Once discovered the keywords should be placed within every piece of text. Notice some stores have the same goods located in different areas throughout the store; keywords are just like that; they must be everywhere a search engine might look. The same keywords need to be mirrored in the web content, blog and every article submitted or linked to hubs.

Window Shopping is Good Advertising
Of course, every article needs to be useful and informative otherwise people won’t be bothered to read it. But if the text doesn’t have the keywords embedded in it, it’s a waste of time as far as the virtual shopper is concerned. Keywords are the highlighted passages; which clearly mark the way to a web site. Without them, potential visitors will be left searching in the dark and they may never find what they are looking for. Keywords also help keep the text remain focused and to-the-point. If the text is vague or ambiguous people will get lost. If the text is about ‘lower left back pain remedies’ it’s no good putting in a keyword about hot-tubs (unless that is the specific remedy), so keep keywords relevant, and specific. Finally, for people who are interested in how to make money online by picking keywords they need to be word smiths. A client may want their text to be ‘not promotional, self-serving or comparative.’ In other cases they may want, ‘a story which reflects the subject in each hyperlink. Whatever the style of writing in all cases it keywords are critical.

Double Your Traffic Within A Month

In January of 2010 I had over 6,000 visitors to my Residuals and Royalties blog and in only one month I was able to double the number of total visitors to almost 12,000. Many bloggers spend time creating quality content in hopes that they will attract visitors to their blog. The sad truth is that more often than not, quality content alone will not attract readers to a blog that is not established. The key to making money online with your blog is having a lot of unique visitors. Below is a list of things that you can do to attract more readers to your blog…

Yahoo Answers: Go to Yahoo answers and search for unanswered questions that are related to your blog’s topic. Give a relevant, quality answer and be sure and include a link to your blog as well. You can even copy and past your answer onto a multitude of similar questions.

Ping-O-Matic: Every time that you write a new blog post, use Ping-O-Matic to submit your fresh content to a large list of search engines. This system makes it so easy to let all of the search engines know that you have new content on your blog.

Guest Posts: Contact the owners of popular blogs in your niche and ask if they would mind if you created a guest post specifically for their blog. If they accept, create a well written post that will attract others to want to learn more about your blog. Guest posting is my number one source of increasing traffic to my blog.

Reply to Every Comment: If someone takes the time to leave a comment or response on your blog and you don’t take the time to respond back, chances are that that person will not be coming back to your blog. Remember that your readers are the lifeblood of your blog and without them you’d be going nowhere fast!

Interview a Big Name: Ask a big name blogger in your niche if you could interview them for your blog. If they accept, they are likely to put a link to their interview on their own blog and in turn you can gain some quality traffic. Be sure and ask interesting questions that will intrigue your reader and keep them coming back for more.

There are many more things that you can do to attract visitors to your blog. Remember that whatever your niche is, you should always act as though you are an expert in your particular arena. Follow this advice and you too can double your blog traffic on one month. Here you can see a screen shot of the increase in my blog’s traffic from January to February…

Making Money With Google

They are two ways to make money online with Google. One is through Google Adsense. The other is through Google Adwords. Google Adsense and Google Adwords are two products owned by Google.

I will describe these products briefly so you can learn this way to do it.

Google Adwords: this method is not free. Google Adwords is simply a Google advertising program. It is a pay per click advertising program. This simply means that you will have ads on google and whenever someone clicks on it you pay your chosen bid usually in cents. An example of this ad can seen when you make a search at Google, the sponsored links beside your search result. This is a method to do targeted advertising. The idea is to make money online through a combination of Google Adwords and affiliate program.

Let me suppose you now know what Google Adwords is all about, but you do not know what affiliate program is all about. They are companies which will pay you to advertise their products and in return you will earn a fixed commission when someone you referred make a sale, lead, impression or click to their site, such method is referred to as affiliate program. I will describe this program in a more clarifying way. Let say I am selling tv. If my tv sells for $200, I may have an affiliate program where someone can sign up. What you will need to do is to simply sign up and start promoting my tv with the link I provide. When someone signs up, you will be paid their fixed commission.

The thing there is to find an affiliate program that pays a good commission and advertise it at google adwords. This will not be an easy process, but it is possible. There are people in this game that generate thousands of dollars per month. If they can do it, why can’t you do it as well? Your first stop right now will be to select an affiliate program. When you have selected one, sign up at their affiliate page and get your link. The next stop is to sign up at google adwords. You will need to fund your account with a recommended capital of $100. You will need to create a website. If you are not ready to buy and host a site, you can as well use a free blogsite. An example of a free blogsite is blogger.

After creating the blogger, create a blogpage where you will review the product of the affiliate program you have selected. You will need to review one product per blogpage. The next stop is to create a google ad using the link of your blogpage, fix your ad usually not greater than $0.20, sit back, relax and watch your money roll in.

In order to succeed using this method to make it, you will need an internet marketing course. This course will enable you to kick aside the challenges in this system of making money. With it, you will be able to save money on advertising and make more money on profit. I urge you to get it if you want to succeed using this system.

In Spain Shriya Loses?

Shriya was recently shooting for a Telugu film with Ravi Teja in Spain. One day on her way back to the hotel from a Barcelona shopping mall Shriya and her friends were travelling in the train. When they reached their destination there was a shock in store for Shriya.

When they got out of the train Shriya realized she was robbed of her belongings on the train. But cool Shriya stayed calm. She shrugged off the incident saying it happens to everybody and that was her turn.

However there was not much lost except for some curios for the house, a couple of bags and shoes according to her friends. Will she return to Barcelona again? “Barcelona is beautiful place and I will return purely on holiday. And next time I’ll tie all things around my neck so that no one dares to touch" said the unruffled beauty.

Illayaraja Is called By Bollywood

Even when he was at the peak maestro Illayaraja did not vie Bollywood as a preferred destination except for a few friends like Balu Mahendra in Sadma. Decades later director Balki introduced Illayaraja again by using some of the legend’s Tamil tunes in his films 'Cheeni Kum' and 'Paa'. Now Bollywood is knocking at the doors of Illayaraja.

Illayaraja made a trip to Mumbai last week only to listen to stories of film makers who wanted him to do the music for their films. Sources say Illayaraja is convinced with four of the many stories he heard and agreed to do the music for the four films.

Legends always stand the test of time.

Dhanush To Become A Director

A long time dream of Dhanush is turning a reality now. The actor, toeing the line of his father Kasthoori Raja and brother Selvaraghavan, is all set to become a director, however for a short film initially.

And joining hands with Dhanush in this novel attempt is Sandalwood siren Divya Spandana (formerly ‘Kuthu’ Ramya), who had shared the screen space with the actor in his 2007 release ‘Polladhavan’.

“Doing a short film for my friend Dhanush. He is an amazingly talented guy; a great actor and soon-to-be director,” the actress posted as her status line on her homepage in a popular social networking site.

Meanwhile, sources have it that Dhanush’s wife Aishwarya, who too was hinting at becoming a director, would help her husband in this project. “Some vital inputs may also come from Selvaraghavan and Kasthoori Raja,” they add.a

Suriya is one actor who likes to experiment with different get-ups on screen. Now Suriya is approaching his silver jubilee with Singam. Today, when hardly any film runs for 25 weeks (silver jubilee) and many actors sink into oblivion after just a couple of appearances, these numbers assume great significance for the actors.

Anushka is Suriya’s heroine for the first time. We do hope that Singam reaches the silver jubilee mark! Suriya and director Hari are naturally hoping for a hat trick after Aaru and Vel. At age 67 Actress Lynn Redgrave has died

NEW YORK – Lynn Redgrave, an introspective and independent player in her family's acting dynasty who became a 1960s sensation as the unconventional title character of "Georgy Girl" and later dramatized her troubled past in such one-woman stage performances as "Shakespeare for My Father" and "Nightingale," has died. She was 67.

Her publicist Rick Miramontez, speaking on behalf of her children, said Redgrave died peacefully Sunday night at her home in Kent, Conn. Children Ben, Pema and Annabel were with her, as were close friends.

"Our beloved mother Lynn Rachel passed away peacefully after a seven year journey with breast cancer," Redgrave's children said in a statement Monday. "She lived, loved and worked harder than ever before. The endless memories she created as a mother, grandmother, writer, actor and friend will sustain us for the rest of our lives. Our entire family asks for privacy through this difficult time."

Redgrave was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2002, had a mastectomy in January 2003 and underwent chemotherapy.

Her death comes a year after her niece Natasha Richardson died from head injuries sustained in a skiing accident and just a month after the death of her older brother, Corin Redgrave.

The youngest child of Michael Redgrave and Rachel Kempson, Lynn Redgrave never quite managed the acclaim — or notoriety — of elder sibling Vanessa Redgrave, but received Oscar nominations for "Georgy Girl" and "Gods and Monsters," and Tony nominations for "Mrs. Warren's Profession," "Shakespeare for My Father" and "The Constant Wife." In recent years, she also made appearances on TV in "Ugly Betty," "Law & Order" and "Desperate Housewives."

"Vanessa was the one expected to be the great actress," Lynn Redgrave told The Associated Press in 1999. "It was always, 'Corin's the brain, Vanessa the shining star, oh, and then there's Lynn.'"

In theater, the ruby-haired Redgrave often displayed a sunny, sweet and open personality, much like her ebullient offstage personality. It worked well in such shows as "Black Comedy" — her Broadway debut in 1972 — and again two years later in "My Fat Friend," a comedy about an overweight young woman who sheds pounds to find romance.

Redgrave's play "Nightingale" at off-Broadway's Manhattan Theatre Club in 2009 was the last time she appeared on stage in New York. Lights on Broadway marquees will be dimmed Tuesday.

"She was adored by audiences, and although she embarked on a medical treatment as previews began, she never missed a show and gave magnificent performances eight times a week," said Lynne Meadow, artistic director of MTC.

"We admired her strength, her talent, her courage and her enormous good heart. There wasn't a stage hand, a press rep, a box office person who didn't worship Lynn. She was true theatre royalty."

Tall and blue-eyed like her sister, she was as open about her personal life as Vanessa has been about politics. In plays and in interviews, Lynn Redgrave confided about her family, her marriage and her health. She acknowledged that she suffered from bulimia and served as a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers. With daughter Annabel Clark, she released a 2004 book about her fight with cancer, "Journal: A Mother and Daughter's Recovery From Breast Cancer."

Redgrave was born in London in 1943 and despite self-doubts pursued the family trade. She studied at London's Central School of Speech and Drama, and was not yet 20 when she debuted professionally on stage in a London production of "A Midsummer's Night Dream." Like her siblings, she appeared in plays and in films, working under Noel Coward and Laurence Olivier as a member of the National Theater and under director/brother-in-law Tony Richardson in the 1963 screen hit "Tom Jones."

"Before I was born, my father was a movie star and a stage star," the actress told the AP in 1993. "I was raised in a household where we didn't see our parents in the morning. We lived in the nursery. Our nanny made our breakfast, and I was dressed up to go downstairs to have tea with my parents, if they were there."

True fame caught her with "Georgy Girl," billed as "the wildest thing to hit the world since the miniskirt." The 1966 film starred Redgrave as the plain, childlike Londoner pursued by her father's middle-aged boss, played by James Mason.

Dismissed by critic Pauline Kael as a false testament to free thinking, the movie was branded "cool" by moviegoers on both side of the Atlantic and received several Academy Award nominations, including one for Redgrave and one for the popular title song performed by the Australian group The Seekers.

"All the films I've been in — and I haven't been in that many attention-getting films — no one expected anything of, least of all me," Redgrave said in an AP interview in 1999.

"Georgy Girl" didn't lead to lasting commercial success, but did anticipate a long-running theme: Redgrave's weight. She weighed 180 pounds while making the film, leading New York Times critic Michael Stern to complain that Redgrave "cannot be quite as homely as she makes herself in this film.

"Slimmed down, cosseted in a couture salon, and given more of the brittle, sophisticated lines she tosses off with such abandon here, she could become a comedienne every bit as good as the late Kay Kendall," he wrote.

Films such as "The Happy Hooker" and "Every Little Crook and Nanny" were remembered less than Redgrave's decision to advocate for Weight Watchers. She even referenced "Georgy Girl" in one commercial, showing a clip and saying, "This was me when I made the movie, because this is the way I used to eat."

At age 50, Redgrave was ready to tell her story in full. As she wrote in the foreword to "Shakespeare for My Father," she was out of work and set off on a "journey that began almost as an act of desperation," writing a play out of her "passionately emotional desire" to better understand her father, who had died in 1985.

In the 1993 AP interview, Redgrave remembered her father as a fearless stage performer yet a shy, tormented man who had great difficulty talking to his youngest daughter.

"I didn't really know him," Redgrave said. "I lived in his house. I was in awe of him and I adored him, and I was terrified of him and I hated him and I loved him, all in one go."

Redgrave credited the play, which interspersed readings from Shakespeare with family memories, with bringing her closer to her relatives and reviving her film career. She played the supportive wife of pianist David Helfgott in "Shine" and received an Oscar nomination as the loyal housekeeper for filmmaker James Whale in "Gods and Monsters." She also appeared in "Peter Pan," "Kinsey" and "Confessions of a Shopaholic."

On stage, she looked at her mother's side of the family in "The Mandrake Root" and "Rachel and Juliet."

"Nightingale" touched upon her health, the life of her grandmother (Beatrice Kempson) and the end of her 32-year marriage to actor-director John Clark, who had disclosed that he had fathered a child with the future wife of their son Benjamin. She sat at a desk and worked from a script, but it didn't affect what the AP called "her touching, beautifully realized performance," the AP wrote last year.

Lynn Redgrave is survived by six grandchildren, her sister Vanessa, and four nieces and nephews.

A private funeral will be held later this week.

Five Peoples Where Killed while playing soccer in southern Mexico

MEXICO CITY – Gunmen drove up to a soccer field and shot five men to death as they played early Monday near the Pacific coast resort of Acapulco, police in southern Mexico said.

It was unclear why the five men were playing so late, but the region of Guerrero state is often so hot and humid by day by day that athletes wait until night to compete. Many people also work unusual hours in the local tourist industry.

The men were playing in the hamlet of Xaltianguis, on the northern outskirts of Acapulco, when gunmen in three vehicles pulled up beside the field and opened fire.

Two of the dead were identified as local men aged 25 and 34; the other three victims had not been identified because relatives quickly took the bodies away.

Nor was there any immediate information on a possible motive for the attack. However, the area around Acapulco has been plagued in recent months by a bloody turf war between rival factions of the Beltran Leyva.

Disabled people, women, children and students have all figured among recent victims of violence in the drug war, which has killed more than 22,700 people since President Felipe Calderon launched an offensive against cartels in December 2006.

Also Monday, Mexican soldiers seized an arsenal of gold-plated, diamond-encrusted weapons believed to belong to the Valencia gang, allies of the powerful Sinaloa drug cartel, prosecutors said.

Photos of the weapons show that most of the 31 pistols found in a raid on a home in western Mexico had gold or silver-plated grips or glittered with diamonds — apparently flamboyant examples of the sort of gaudily customized weapons favored by some drug gangsters.

Three of the assault rifles are almost entirely gold-plated.

Identification documents were found at the home on the outskirts of the western city of Guadalajara in the name of Oscar Nava Valencia.
